Yeah that is very cool. I saw that vid and others last year and
it gave me some ideas for next year's Internet Experience in
Education conference workshop. e.g. diy interactive white boards.
Whatcha think?
Johnny Lee is a genius. I couldn't help but remember this video
when I was watching the lads at OpenCoffee playing with the
interactive Smart Board today, and imagine what will be possible in
a year or two.
I think it'd be more useful for detailed blueprint or CAD
drawing examination myself but gaming possibilities are there. What
about a bomb defusing game where you have to get behind panels and
pull out wires?
How about a two player (networked?) shoot out game. I'm thinking
of a very simple simple game where each person is standing/ducking
behind various sized objects (cubes) arranged in a maze between
them. Basically you just hide behind an object, peek and shoot to
kill the opponent. You could have the targeting system
automatically track the enemy and all you need is a fire button and
loads of space in the living room.

I really like the ways you can use the Wii Remote.

Bomb defusing, nice idea! You would have to rig up an electro-shock circuit that would zap you if you cut the wrong wire
